The Ridge View Blazers traveled up to Aiken to face the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets. This game was the ultimate aroma of a highschool playoff game. The low lit arena lights, waxed wood floors, chili nachos, rhythmic cheers, crazy fans and the heat of an arena that could give a South Carolina summer a run for its money. It was the type of atmosphere that would have many enthusiast realizing why they love the game. The Blazers came out firing, controlling the tempo of the game. They took a lead going into halftime and choose to never look back. Ridge View ended their voyage with a 77-61 victory over the Hornets and will be facing the South Aiken Thoroughbreds in the next round of the playoffs. Hopefully this playoff aroma and their dominance cares throughout the rest of their playoff journey.
